Volunteering
Volunteering is one of the most rewarding and heartfelt things that you can do, not only for yourself but for the people you are helping along the way. In Nepal, Partaking in a volunteer program gives you a wonderful and unique opportunity to live and interact with a local family, gaining a first hand insight into the culture and customs of this unique Himalayan country. You will also get to play an important role in aiding a small community in gaining an edge in education. It's often the case in rural areas that education is under-funded and poor. By volunteering in one of the many schools in our programs, you are offering your teaching experience and your ability as an English speaker to help educate not only the children, but the teachers as well. Along your journey you will form many life-long friends and memories that you will be able to tell your grandchildren about.
VillageTourism
Village tourism is a new concept in the Nepalese tourism industry. Nepal is well known for its adventure travel, white water rafting and great jungle safaris, where you stay in resorts or in tents. With this package, you would be taken to a village where you can stay with a local family and get first hand experience of their culture and traditions. These village tours are normally conducted in Sirubari, Bandipur, Kakani and Gorkha, although Ace Travels is operating the village tour in other parts of Nepal as well, such as Ghale Gaun, Sreeban and Chepang.
WhiteWaterRiver Rafting
Nepal has earned a standing as one of the best destinations in the world for white water rafting. Thundering down from the glaciers of the mighty Himalayas, these rivers provide unmatched thrills for the rafting enthusiast. Whitewater rafting is a popular water adventure sport in Nepal, and there are many rivers for you to explore, such as the Trishuli, Seti, Bhote Koshi, Kali Gandaki, Marsyandi, Sun Koshi, Arun, Karnali and Tamur.

Mountain Flights
Get close to the majestic peaks of Mount Everest or the Annapurna range without the leg work by taking a scenic flight. Most domestic airlines arrange flights in light aircraft and flights are available from Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Shopping
You can scout for Tibetan handicrafts and tibetan bracelets at the Bodhanath stupa, a centre of Tibetan culture, just a short ride from the center of Kathmandu. The Newari artisans of the valley are world famous for their fine craftsmanship, and you'll find their exquisite copper and brass ware, jewelry, and statues in Patan and wood carvings in Bhaktapur.
Take to the skies
Nepal's undulating landscape is particularly breathtaking from the air. Try ballooning, hang-gliding or even have a go at flying a micro-light plane, from Kathmandu, Pokhara or the Langtang region. Paragliding is also a popular activity in Pokhara.
