Clash of the Titans 3 on its way

 

Hollywood hearts a franchise, as proved by the news that a second sequel to Clash of the Titans is on its way…

Last year brought us , next year we’ll be getting Wrath of the Titans, and now news reaches us that number three is underway. Two of the sequel’s writers have been tasked with coming up with the third instalment of the Greek myth-milking franchise.

To save those guys some time, we’ve thrown some titles and premises together, free-of-charge. Take a nice long sip on your skimmed milk lattes fellas and relax, these babies are on the house:

·         Cache of the Titans: A modern cyber thriller update to the ancient Greek stories. Perseus stumbles across Zeus’ internet search history, and doesn’t like what he finds. Epic battles ensue...

·         Rash of the Titans: A Contagion-like take on the mythological warriors, with Gwyneth Paltrow as Helen of Troy conking it in the first half from a mysterious infection spreading its way through the ranks. When Menelaus finds out who she caught it from, epic battles ensue...

·         Plath of the Titans: Perseus saves a hot depressive poet from a suicide attempt, but when he realises her free verse shows scant regard for his beloved iambs and dactyls, epic battles ensue...

·         Slash of the Titans: The Guns and Roses guitarist accidentally stumbles through a time portal and winds up in ancient Greece. When Theseus makes fun of his hat, epic… okay, we’ll stop now. Sorry about all that.
